The Introductory Course on Academic Integrity & Ethics is a mandatory course for all first-year undergraduate students at Ashoka University. The course introduces students to established standards of academic integrity. There are five units in the course, including sessions on academic integrity, originality, identifying credible sources of information, citations, avoiding plagiarism and summarising and paraphrasing texts. On completion, students will be familiar with the basic tools for conducting research and writing papers independently.
